Metro Pacific Tollways Corporation (MPTC) celebrated the milestones for the Cebu-Cordova Link Expressway (CCLEX) with a Partners’ Night held last January 23, 2020.

The event was attended by executives and employees of MPTC and its subsidiary Cebu Cordova Link Expressway Corporation (CCLEC).  It served as venue for MPTC and CCLEC to extend their gratitude to those who support their vision to connect the Philippines and in the process pave the way for further growth and development.

HONORING PARTNERS. Offering a toast to partners in the building of the Cebu-Cordova Link Expressway are MPTC President and CEO Rodrigo E. Franco (left) and MPIC President and CEO Jose Ma. K. Lim.

At the celebration were MPIC President and CEO Jose Ma. K. Lim, MPTC President and CEO Rodrigo E. Franco, and CCLEC President and GM Allan G. Alfon.

CCLEC is undertaking the construction of CCLEX, soon to become one of Cebu’s iconic landmarks. The 8.5-kilometer toll expressway will connect mainland Cebu and the island of Mactan via Cebu City and the Municipality of Cordova.

CCLEX is envisaged to not only decongest traffic in Metro Cebu but also to spur economic development and improve the lives of people in the area. The infrastructure is an engineering ingenuity, a beacon of progress, and a symbol of MPTC’s nation-building objectives.

It is the first of MPTC’s toll road projects intended to transform the Visayas region.

MISS CEBU joined the event held at the Radisson Blu Cebu.
